The Fourth Trimester: A Season of Becoming
I was unaware I would leave that hospital a different person. Entering the hospital the night I gave birth went exactly how I imagined it to. I could hardly stand straight from the contractions and soon I was admitted to a room and in a gown. The room looked as most appear in films and echoing machines filled the room as I focused on my breaths.
